Harlem rap legend Cam’ron is switching up his storytelling game with a major money move.
The Dipset frontman just inked a $750,000 deal with publishing giant Simon & Schuster to release his very first memoir. The yet-to-be-titled book promises a raw and honest look at Cam’s evolution from Harlem streets to global stages. Fans can expect a no-holds-barred account of his journey through music, fashion, and media. It’s not just about hits and headlines; Cam’s memoir will peel back the layers of his personal and professional life.
“I’m happy to have this deal done,” Cam’ron shared in a statement. “Hopefully, the book will be released February of 2026, and that everyone can take something from my memoir when they read it.”
This latest announcement caps off a blockbuster year for Cam’ron. He recently secured a multi-million dollar partnership with Revolt for his popular commentary show “Talk with Flee.” It’s unknown if his sports commentary series, “It Is What It Is,” will be included in this deal.
Earlier in 2025, Cam added “filmmaker” to his resume with the release of “Is It A Crime,” an indie movie he both produced and starred in. The film is currently available on Apple TV and Amazon Prime. Before putting on his mogul hat, Cam delivered timeless hits such as “Oh Boy,” “Hey Ma,” and “Horse & Carriage.”
These days, Cam has seemingly stepped away from the mic with the exception of his freestyles. Instead, his new journey as a host and soon-to-be author seems to be taking center stage.
