This revelation comes after Cardi revealed, during a recent live, that she and her spouse have been living separately for some time. In a statement to PEOPLE magazine, a source claimed, “They’re tumultuous. They’ve broken up and gotten back together and broken up again way more than the public has seen.”

The Grammy-winning artist expressed her desire to begin the upcoming year with a clean slate and a sense of openness. She candidly admitted, “I’ve been single for a minute now,” adding, “I’m curious for a new life, for a new beginning. And yeah… I’m excited.”

During the live session, Cardi acknowledged that some individuals might have anticipated that a breakup was on the horizon.

“I don’t know if you guys have been getting clues from me, from my Lives, or from my Stories, when I put some certain music or find my unfollowings,” the Bronx rapper said.

Cardi’s explanation appeared to be a reaction to fans’ observations that she and Offset had mutually unfollowed each other on Instagram the previous week. Additionally, she had shared a couple of cryptic messages on her Instagram Stories, alluding to the idea of outgrowing relationships and prioritizing self-care.

Offset’s appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast revealed the qualities that initially drew his wife to him.

“She didn’t give a f*ck what nobody thought. And it’s just like, damn, that’s fire. Funny, great personality, from what I could see, you know what I’m saying? Like that’s a funny girl, she’s a cool girl, and then I shot my shot and I swished it,” he said.
