Cardi B is firing off on Joe Budden for his latest comments about her music.
On the recent episode of his podcast, Budden discussed Rob49 and Cardi’s new single, “On Dat Money.” While he seemed excited about the track, Budden expressed that the Bronx rapper is now a “single artist.” He doesn’t believe Cardi will ever release an album, while co-host QueenzFlip seemed to suggest that he was given some intel about Cardi’s label wanting her to drop an album to no avail. The Grammy Award-winning MC took offense to this and used Twitter Spaces to drag Budden for “harassing” her.

“Why you always worried about what I got going on? And to be realistic, you not worried about my album because you want to hear it ‘cause if you want to hear it, you can pull up to my studio session. TT Torrez, the director of Hot 97, heard my album,” Cardi stated, also adding, “If you want to hear my album, pull up to my studio session, but you really want my album to come out so you can criticize it. Every single time I drop a record, you don’t like it. Every single time a b***h drop something and they doing mediocre, you say they doing better than me.”
Cardi then went on to drag the retired lyricist for insinuating that she would use her marital issues with her husband Offset as public stunts.
“In December, I was really going through it with my husband. It was a real real tough time with me and my n***a. You really sat here and said that I used my sh** with my husband for publicity because of another b***h,” she slammed.
Budden responded to Cardi with several tweets of his own, offering a solution to their issues.
“I promise you and can assure you, I will not cover a single thing this girl does for the remainder of her career… Peace & love,” Budden wrote in a tweet.

He also accused Cardi of lashing out at him as a “play” of some kind but did not elaborate. Budden claims he was not being messy but simply wanted to hear new music from an artist he supports.
I think i understand what’s going on….. this is a play…… cuz i love her 🤷🏾♂️😢

In the end, he chose to say sorry to Cardi and put the matter to rest.
“She cursing me smooth out but she still hilarious lol…. I’m going to bed, I apologize to @iamcardib for whatever I did, and peace and love to all,” Budden wrote.
