Cardi B just made a major announcement that’s shaking up the music world, as fans anxiously await her sophomore album, “Am I the Drama?”
The project, which is set to drop on September 19th, will feature a guest appearance from none other than music legend Janet Jackson.
Cardi unveiled her roster of collaborators on social media, and it is packed with heavy hitters. Alongside Jackson, the album will also include appearances from Lizzo, Kehlani, Selena Gomez, Summer Walker, Tyla, Megan Thee Stallion, and Cash Cobain. In total, fans can expect 23 tracks.
It’s been seven years since Cardi released her Grammy-winning debut “Invasion of Privacy,” and the pressure to deliver has been building. She previously admitted that delays from collaborators had slowed down the process, but now it seems everything is in place.
Cardi B’s “Am I the Drama?” is shaping up to be a star-studded return, with even Jay-Z co-signing the release by allowing Cardi to remake his classic, “Imaginary Player.”
