Cardi B is standing by her support of Kamala Harris following her appearance during Harris and Tim Walz’s Milwaukee rally.
The mobilization, which also included a performance from GloRilla, was another event aimed at energizing Democratic voters ahead of the upcoming election. Cardi, who previously expressed she would not be voting in this year, championed Harris’ vision and White House plans.
“I’ma be real with yall, I wasn’t gonna vote this year, but Kamala Harris joining the race, she changed my mind completely,” Cardi shared in her nine-minute speech.
Cardi has long voiced her thoughts on political issues and has publicly endorsed President Biden and VP Harris. However, given the dire situation in Palestine and the lack of a ceasefire, the “Bodak Yellow” star had decided to sit out this election. Many people called out Cardi for choosing to endorse Harris at the last minute, even accusing her of getting paid to do so, which she vehemently denied.
“I did not get paid a dollar for this…I actually been talking about these topics for the past couple years FOR FREE on ALL my platforms!! Before I was a celebrity I was a product of poverty for 24 years so you not gonna tell me what I want to see in MY community,” she wrote in one tweet.

After the appearance, the 32-year-old went live on Instagram, further backing her support of the campaign.
“She’s moving like she gotta prove a point, and once a woman gotta prove a point, we gotta step on It,” she shared.
