The microphone Cardi B aggressively threw into the crowd during her Las Vegas show at Drai’s Nightclub is now up for auction.
According to the audio production company, The Wave, owner Scott Fisher has decided to give the proceeds to charity.
Fisher told TMZ that locating the microphone was easy due to the white tape across the bottom that said “MAIN.” Despite the toss, he said the microphone was intact and worked fine.
So far, videos of Cardi B’s mic throw have gained widespread attention. Following the incident, a woman who alleged being hit by the microphone reported the matter to the police, leading to Cardi B being regarded as a battery case suspect.
eBay has listed a starting bid of $500, and Scott mentions that the microphone’s initial cost was $1,000.
According to Scott, the money generated from the sale will be distributed between two charitable causes: the Wounded Warrior Project and a Las Vegas-based charity called Friendship Circle Las Vegas, which caters to the needs of teenagers and young adults with special needs.
