One of the founding members of VH1’s Black Ink Crew filed a lawsuit against the mother of his child over her child abuse claims.
Ceaser Emanuel sued baby mama Crystal Torres for repeating claims made by their 17-year-old daughter, Cheyenne, earlier this year. Cheyenne accused her father of pulling her out of the shower and beating her, TMZ reports.
But Emanuel says it’s not true, and all he did was discipline his daughter. Now, he’s filing a defamation suit against Torres for calling him a child abuser. The lawsuit also includes comments Torres posted on social media.
In legal documents obtained by TMZ, Emanuel lists Torres’ IG posts and interviews, calling them inflammatory. He claims that as a result of the accusations, he’s had to put his show on hold, has lost out on endorsement deals, and has lost opportunities to work with the community.
Emanuel’s legal team scheduled a press conference for Thursday to address the lawsuit. But, Torres’s attorney claims it will violate an order of protection she has against Emanuel. The order prohibits any contact and also prohibits any type of family offense or harassment. Seth D. Schraier told the outlet if Emanuel holds the new conference, he will immediately request a court conference.
