Chance the Rapper has reached a divorce settlement with his estranged wife, Kirsten Corley, bringing their nearly six-year marriage to a close. According to court documents filed in Cook County, Illinois last week, the couple informed the court that they had agreed on terms to finalize their divorce.
Corley described the marriage as “irretrievably broken” in the legal filings, noting that she and the Grammy-winning artist have been separated for more than six months. While details of the settlement have not been made public, Corley confirmed she reviewed and accepted the agreement as fair and equitable.
The divorce will be officially finalized once a judge signs off on the agreement.
Chance the Rapper, 30, and Kirsten Corley first began dating in September 2013. After becoming engaged, the couple legally tied the knot in December 2018 before celebrating with a star-studded ceremony in Newport Beach in March 2019.
Corley filed for divorce in December 2024, months after the couple publicly announced their separation in April.
The pair shares two young daughters, Kensli and Marli.
