Cher has sought a temporary legal conservatorship for her adult son, Elijah Blue Allman, over concerns about his persistent struggles with substance abuse.
As per a petition submitted in the Los Angeles Superior Court, Cher is requesting to become the exclusive conservator of her son’s estate. The filing claims that he is presently incapable of handling his assets due to significant mental health and substance abuse challenges.
Concerning the allegations, Cher explicitly stated, “That rumor is not true,” and opted not to provide additional comments. Nevertheless, she acknowledged that the private family matter in question is connected to her son’s well-documented struggles with addiction, a topic he has openly addressed over the years.
