Spring is in the air, and Chick-fil-A has rolled out a tasty new beverage to celebrate the spirited season.
The beloved fast-food chain has debuted its Cloudberry Sunjoy, a new spin on the chain’s Sunjoy beverage. The sweet quencher combines cloudberry with cherry blossom, lemonade, and sweet tea, for an oddly satisfying sweet and tart thirst relinquisher.
After adding the original Sunjoy to the menu last year, which included only lemonade and sweet tea, Chick-fil-A was pleased with the success of the beverage. The popularity led them to try a new spin, which they tested in Augusta last fall. Following positive feedback, the Cloudberry Sunjoy was rolled out nationwide.
Many people are unfamiliar with the cloudberry, which is a flavorful fruit that is similar to raspberries. The small, amber-hued berry usually grows in colder portions of the United States. The slightly tart delicacy is not utilized to its fullest potential in most restaurants, but Chick-fil-A is looking to change that.
For consumers watching their calorie intake, try the lite Cloudberry Sunjoy, which uses diet lemonade and unsweetened tea. Either option may also be ordered by the jug for your late-night Sunjoy cravings. The beverage is only available for a limited time, so act fast.
