Chris Brown is being sued by a man who claims he was hospitalized after suffering from severe injuries caused by the singer.
Earlier this year, Abe Diaw accused the singer of hitting him in the back of the head with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 tequila at Tape nightclub in England.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Chris Brown is accused of using a Don Julio 1942 tequila bottle as a weapon to strike Abe Diaw on the head, delivering powerful blows.
The lawsuit alleges that Diaw was knocked unconscious by the attack, but Brown continued to assault him by stomping him out on the club floor. Diaw claims to have suffered injuries such as head wounds and torn ligaments in his leg, which required hospitalization.
Diaw alleges that surveillance footage of the incident exists and is in the possession of London police. He asserts that he can identify Chris Brown in the video and contends that the singer is considered a fugitive in the United Kingdom due to the alleged assault.
Furthermore, Diaw claims to have known Brown for years and says that Chris unexpectedly hit him with the tequila bottle that night in the club.
Abe Diaw is suing Chris for damages.
