Chris Brown revealed to fans that he’s sneaking out alone, disguised, just to feel like himself.
During his Breezy Bowl XX World Tour, the singer shared on Instagram that he often slips away from the spotlight to explore cities on his own.
“Fun fact: I like to sneak out by myself when I’m in different cities,” Brown wrote alongside photos showing him in Amsterdam. “It helps me feel human and normal.”
The singer explained that constant isolation from everyday life, especially being famous and in the public eye, weighs heavily on his mental health.
“That’s really important for my mental due to the fact that I just can’t walk around freely during the day. Keeps me grounded. Being secluded from some parts of everyday life activities will drive you insane being isolated all the time,” he said.
Brown also reminded himself to “cook, remain humble and grateful,” highlighting how important those simple acts are to staying balanced.
Brown is marking two decades in music with a global tour that will run into the summer of 2025. But behind the scenes, the star is also facing legal challenges.
Last month, he was released on a $6.7 million bail by a London court after being charged with grievous bodily harm in connection to an alleged 2023 nightclub incident.
His next court date is set for June 20, between stops in Cardiff and London.
Despite the pressures offstage, Brown is finding ways to hold on to a sense of normal life, even if it means blending into a crowd in disguise.
