People close to D4vd are speaking up, with some claiming they believed the young girl found dead in the singer’s Tesla was his legal-aged girlfriend.
When D4vd showed up to parties around L.A. with Celeste Rivas by his side, no one blinked, according to sources who spoke with TMZ. To friends and other artists in the music scene, she came off like any other college-aged girlfriend. But after her tragic death, those same people were left speechless to learn she was just 14 years old.
Multiple people familiar with the pair told the outlet that Rivas never gave off the impression of being a minor due to the way she dressed and presented herself.
Some assumed she was attending USC, thanks to her appearance at campus events and the alleged use of fake IDs. D4vd didn’t raise red flags either, seemingly making no attempt to clarify that she was underage to those closest to him.
Investigators say Celeste had run away before and was navigating a difficult home life. Though her death remains under investigation, police haven’t linked D4vd directly to her passing. However, with old photos of the pair continuing to surface, it’s evident that the two were involved in a relationship of some kind.
