DaniLeigh and DaBaby had fans tuned in to their live-streamed drama that started in the wee hours Monday morning. And now, DaniLeigh has been hit with a charge.
According to Rolling Stone, authorities from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department confirmed two incidents took place and charges have been filed.
Cops responded to the first incident, a domestic assault call, on Nov. 14 at around 11:59 p.m. Jonathan Kirk a.k.a DaBaby, told responding officers that his girlfriend DaniLeigh, whose given name is Danielle Curiel, had assaulted him. Kirk was then referred to the Magistrate’s Office to pursue charges against DaniLeigh.
On Nov. 15, at around 9:35 a.m, cops responded to another incident where DaBaby told police that DaniLeigh had assaulted him. “As a result of the investigation, Curiel was served with a Criminal Summons for Simple Assault. Officers also obtained additional information that led them to charge Curiel with a second count of Simple Assault from the incident on Nov. 14,” the statement read.
