Deadline reports that Dave Chappelle will return to Saturday Night Live next Saturday for the shows post-election episode.
The November 7 episode will mark the first time he’s hosted the show since his debut the weekend Donald Trump won the election in 2016.
The episode will mark “SNL’s” sixth original consecutive show in a row, a milestone the show has not previously achieved.
Chappelle famously wished the former Celebrity Apprentice host good luck, telling the audience, “I’m going to give him a chance, and we, the historically disenfranchised, demand that he give us one too.”
The comedian appeared on the show last year for the Eddie Murphy-hosted episode.
The musical guest for the upcoming Chappelle-hosted episode has not yet been announced.
