DC Young Fly Reveals His Sister Has Passed Away

DC Young Fly has been dealt another devastating blow with the loss of his sister. 

On Monday, the comedian shared a photo on Instagram, opening up about the recent deaths he has experienced. As Youngfly explained, he lost his close cousin last year, followed by his longtime partner and mother of his children, Jacklyn “Jacky Oh” Smith, in May 2023 and now sibling, which is the most recent tragedy in life. 

“u jus gotta stick through the mission knowin that GOD got u, and he will grant you the strength…. Remember he parted the Red Sea, not make it disappear .. the problems are still there; he jus allowed u to get through it,” he wrote.

While Youngfly did not reveal how she passed away, in the past, he has revealed that he was the baby of the family. It seems that DC is close with his siblings. Therefore, her death has understandably left him crushed. However, Young Fly has always been very open about his spirituality and leaning into God during times of disparity, which he seems to be doing now. The latest news arrives just weeks after Jacky Oh’s death was ruled “complications of cosmetic surgery” after she traveled to Miami to undergo a BBL procedure.
