DDG Admits the Ferrari He Claimed to Buy for His 1-Year-Old Son Was Just a Rental [Video]

DDG is known for his viral moments, and now we know that his Ferrari purchase for his son, Halo, was just another stunt.

During a recent livestream, influencer India Love joined DDG and asked him about the bright red Ferrari he claimed to have bought for his one-year-old. If you recall, the internet personality tweeted, “N***as mad cuz they son playin hot wheels and mines playin wit ferrari’s & M’s. Just work harder gang.” He also shared videos and images of himself pulling up to Halo’s birthday party with the car after claiming to have spent $500,000 on the Ferrari for his child, whom he shares with Halle Bailey. However, according to DDG, he never actually bought the luxury vehicle.

“I rented it, okay? I said it,” he admitted.

When pressed by India about why he chose to rent the car despite claiming to have purchased it, DDG shared that he wanted Halo to have the memory.

“I think it was cool. It was a good moment. He gon’ be able to look at that when he get older,” he stated.

The rapper is known for pranks and creating funny internet moments. On April Fools’ Day, he declared that he was expecting another child, even sharing an ultrasound photo to back his claims. Unfortunately, in recent months, his custody drama with Bailey has not been another stunt. He accused the singer of keeping Halo away from him and even alleged that Bailey kicked him out of her home. Recently, he showed his son on a livestream, signaling that the smoke had finally settled between the two.
