Derrick Milano Surprises Angela White With a Proposal at Howard Homecoming [Video]

In a surprise moment during Howard University’s Homecoming festivities on Friday, rapper and actor Derrick Milano proposed to Angela White, formerly known as Blac Chyna.

During the annual Yardfest, while on stage in front of hundreds of attendees, Milano, who’s worked with top names in the industry like Beyoncé and Megan Thee Stallion, popped the question to the influencer, drawing cheers and applause from the crowd. White, who was on stage to perform her track “Fabulous,” quickly fought back tears at the sweet gesture, which was captured by DJ Quick Silva, who shared the moment on Instagram.  In the caption, he wrote, “Only @howard1867 #YardFest can make MAGIC happen like this. My guy @derrickmilano just popped the BIG question to the HomeTeam @blacchyna.”

White and Milano have been dating for a little over a year and celebrated their first anniversary in May 2024, which they documented online. Earlier this year, it was also reported that the couple would be joining the cast of “Love & Hip-Hop: Miami.” If true, it’ll be interesting to see if their engagement and subsequent wedding will play out in front of the cameras. Nevertheless, this duo has long expressed their love for one another, which will undoubtedly be highlighted in the series as they navigate their relationship in the spotlight.
