DeVon Franklin and Meagan Good have reportedly called it quits.
According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, DeVon Franklin has filed for divorce from Meagan Good after nine years of marriage. The case was opened Monday in a Los Angeles courtroom.
DeVon, an executive for Columbia Pictures and preacher, and Meagan, an actress known for her roles in “Think Like A Man,” and most recently, Amazon Prime’s “Harlem,” married in June 2012 after becoming engaged in April of that year.
“After much prayer and consideration, we have decided to go into our futures separately but forever connected,” Good, 40, and Franklin, 43, share in a joint statement to PEOPLE.
“We celebrate almost a decade of marriage together and a love that is eternal. There’s no one at fault, we believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love,” they continue.
“We are incredibly grateful for the life-changing years we’ve spent together as husband and wife. We are also extremely thankful to God for the testimony being created inside us both and for blessing our lives with each other,” the pair adds.
No additional details regarding their divorce have been released. However, the couple does not have any children together, so there are no concerns about child support.
