Deyjah Harris Deactivates Her Social Media Account Following T.I.’s Discussion About Her Sexual History

T.I.’s 18-year-old daughter, Deyjah Harris, has officially deactivated her social media account, in the wake of her father’s controversial admission about her sexual history.

The incident occurred earlier this month after T.I. sat down with the hosts of the “Ladies Like Us,” podcast, in which the three discussed a slew of topics, including his parenting style with his daughter. During the episode, the rapper opened up about his relationship with his oldest daughter and how the two deal with topics of sex, sexual health, and more.

“Not only have we had the conversation. We have yearly trips to the gynecologist to check her hymen,” T.I. said on the podcast, later adding, “I will say, as of her 18th birthday, her hymen is still intact.

The conversation sparked a widespread backlash, with many condemning T.I. for invading his daughter’s privacy and embarrassing her on the internet. Not only did the invasive conversation reveal Deyjah’s personal business, but it also offered the opportunity for people, most with ill-intentions, to react and reach out to Deyjah.

At first, the 18-year-old silenced the negative attention and sexual harassment by turning off her Instagram comments, as social media reacted. “Deyjah had to turn off her comments on IG. SMH all because of her father running his mouth about HER sex life,” one user wrote. “T.I. just told the whole world his daughter’s pussy business, literally putting a target on her back so much that she had to turn the comments off her IG cause men are sexually harassing her. How is T.I. protecting Deyjah.”

Now, just weeks later, as a result, Deyjah has officially deactivated her Instagram account.
