Diddy is getting acclimated to prison life, even landing his first job behind bars.

The rapper has officially started his sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, and a new photo shared by TMZ shows the Bad Boy Records founder walking the prison yard wearing a beanie and jacket. In the image, he sports a full gray beard, a far cry from his classic jet black facial hair that made him appear much younger than his actual age. This is the first photograph of Diddy that has surfaced since his September 2024 arrest.

Now that he’s settled in, Diddy has been assigned his first prison job working in the laundry room. Sources familiar with the situation confirm the music mogul is responsible for washing and drying clothes for other inmates, a task that may prove difficult for the wealthy businessman.

“During his criminal trial, federal prosecutors claimed he couldn’t even charge his own phone or fetch a bottle of water, and would send his army of personal assistants to basically do everything for him,” the sources told TMZ.

Diddy was moved to Fort Dix early Thursday morning after spending more than a year at MDC Brooklyn, a higher-security facility where he was held without bail pending trial. He’s serving a 50-month sentence with a projected release date of May 8, 2028, though his attorney Marc Agnifilo believes he may be released earlier.
