The high-profile divorce between hit-making producer DJ Mustard and his ex-wife Chanel Thierry has officially wrapped up, and the terms are as impressive as his beats. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the 34-year-old producer, born Dijon Isaiah McFarlane, will hold onto an impressive fleet of luxury vehicles, multiple properties, and some toys for the water. However, Mustard will also be making substantial payments to Thierry, marking an end to their nearly two-year separation.
As part of the divorce settlement, DJ Mustard will be responsible for significant financial support for their three children. He has agreed to pay $24,500 per month in child support. Additionally, Mustard will make two major lump-sum payments to his ex-wife: $315,000 for spousal support and another $275,000 to equalize their shared assets.
The couple, who had been married for only a few years before separating in 2022, had amassed several high-value assets during their time together. Mustard will be keeping a luxurious collection of vehicles, which includes not one, but two Lamborghinis: a 2018 Lamborghini Aventador and a 2019 Lamborghini Urus. Also on his list are a 2022 Maybach Benz, a 2022 Rolls-Royce Cullinan, and the quintessential celebrity SUV, a Cadillac Escalade. For a touch of vintage, he’ll also retain ownership of a classic 1960 Chevy Impala, along with four motorcycles and a set of Sea-Doo jet skis.
The real estate side of the settlement also worked in Mustard’s favor. The former couple’s properties in Los Angeles and Simi Valley, including a mansion in the upscale neighborhood of Chatsworth, are now under Mustard’s sole ownership. Despite his retention of these flashy assets, Mustard will be making hefty financial contributions to ensure his children’s future.
Thierry and Mustard initially separated in 2022, with the DJ officially filing for divorce in May of that year. While the two had some disagreements over custody, they have ultimately agreed to share joint custody of their three children.
As the divorce is now finalized, both DJ Mustard and Chanel Thierry can move forward separately, while still co-parenting their young children. And while Mustard may still be rolling around Los Angeles in style, the steep payments to Thierry mark the price of closing this chapter on their shared life.
