D.L. Hughley is telling his side of a supposed confrontation between him and Kanye West affiliate, Theophilus London.
On Monday, London shared several posts on his Instagram Story claiming to have pulled up on the “Kings Of Comedy” star at Nobu in Miami. The rapper approached a table where Hughley was sitting with several people. London begins asking Hughley about his comments in a recent Vlad TV interview. London is then seen in another clip telling Hughley to “make it right” with West while they both were in the restaurant’s bathroom.
After the stunt went viral, the 59-year-old returned to Vlad TV to let everyone know that he did not take the confrontation seriously. In an unreleased video, Hughley explained that they did not exchange words again once he and London exited the bathroom. He also let it be known that it was Nobu’s security who intervened when London initially approached him.
The odd moment stems from Hughley saying in a February Vlad interview that Ye was harassing his now-ex-wife Kim Kardashian. He slammed the producer and sneaker mogul for purposefully making the model and her new boo, Pete Davidson, feel uncomfortable. Yeezy responded by saying, “I can afford to hurt you” and calling Hughley a drug addict.
While London did appear on West’s 2015 track “All Day,” it is unclear why he felt the need to defend his honor. Maybe the young man was trying to secure his place on the next “Donda” album.
