Doechii is making it clear that she’s just not that into straight men.

During a recent appearance on “Hot Ones Versus” with DJ Miss Milan, her longtime DJ, Doechii was asked to reveal her biggest dating dealbreaker. After writing it on a whiteboard, Miss Milan took a guess before Doechii confirmed.

“Strike one, you’re a man. And you’re heterosexual.” While she also considers bad music taste a red flag, being a straight man tops her list.

The Florida rapper has long been open about her dating preferences. In December, she also opened up about her bisexuality on “The Breakfast Club.”

“I’ve dated bisexual men, no problem,” she shared. “Let me know what it is upfront. I’ll accept you for who you are. It doesn’t really matter. I think it’s like cheating on top of lying and secrecy about just who you are as a person. How can I be bisexual and then I’m gonna date somebody else who’s bisexual? Why, because it’s a man? Who cares?”

Beyond her dating preferences, Doechii recently addressed misconceptions about hip-hop’s intelligence. In an interview with “The Cut,” she pushed back against the idea that the genre lacks depth. “Anyone who doesn’t think that hip-hop is an intellectual genre, I think that assumption is rooted in racism,” she said.
