Ousted CNN reporter Don Lemon is making a comeback in a new social media program.

Lemon has partnered with X, most popularly known as Twitter, for his newscast, “The Don Lemon Show.” The show will stream exclusively on the platform. On Tuesday, X Business shared news of the partnership. According to the announcement, Lemon will cover culture, sports, entertainment, and politics during the 30-minute show. It will air three days a week, though the exact schedule remains unknown.

We’re delighted to announce a new content partnership with @DonLemon for his new project, The Don Lemon Show. The award winning TV journalist will share his unique and honest voice in 30 minute episodes, three times a week, covering politics, culture, sports and entertainment.…

Lemon also confirmed his latest career endeavor in a tweet on his profile.

“Today I am back bigger, bolder, freer! My new media company’s first project is The Don Lemon Show. It will be available to everyone, easily, whenever and wherever you want it, streaming on the platforms where the conversations are happening,” Lemon wrote.

The journalist was let go by CNN in April 2023 after 17 years with the company. Lemon stated he was “stunned” by his termination, only finding out about it through a call from his agent. However, insiders reported that the firing followed several controversial interviews, such as his heated chat with Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

No matter the reason, Lemon seems happy with his new position over at X, which has been pushing to implement original programming.
