Donald Trump says he thinks it’s time for Kanye “Ye” West to wind it back, mentioning that he thinks the rapper has been acting “too crazy.”
Just moments after West had his interview with Tucker Carlson, Trump reportedly hopped on the phone with Ohio Pastor Darrell Scott and opened up about his thoughts on the conversation. “Two minutes after the Tucker segment ended, I called up Trump and asked him, ‘So, what did you think?’” said Scott.
“Interesting,” said Trump, who served one term as president. “I will say this — he loves Trump!” According to the Independent, Trump has been chatting on the low with people close to him about West’s recent comments about the Jewish community. He recently shared on Twitter that he was going to go “death con 3” on “JEWISH PEOPLE.”
Trump said the rapper has been acting “too crazy” and says he needs to get professional “help.” Two sources close to the situation say Trump has been purposely trying to avoid conversations about West’s blow-ups ever since the rapper began seemingly attacking the Jewish community.
