Dr. Umar Johnson recently took to social media to discuss the federal charges against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, and he didn’t hold back. In a passionate video, Dr. Umar addressed what he believes is the real issue at the core of Diddy’s legal troubles—interstate sex trafficking. He was quick to point out that these charges have nothing to do with domestic abuse, pedophilia, or any of the other salacious rumors swirling around.
“What they’re accusing him of, federally, is transporting women across state lines for the purpose of engaging in sex—essentially prostitution,” Dr. Umar stated. “This isn’t about Cassie, underage girls, or those so-called freak-offs. It’s about sexual trafficking.”
Dr. Umar made it clear that while he doesn’t support prostitution, he finds it troubling that the media is focusing on everything but the actual charges. “I do not support men paying for the sugar box. I do not support Black women having to sexually exploit themselves to pay their bills. But let’s be clear—prostitution is the oldest female profession in the world.”
He continued, emphasizing that what Diddy is being accused of is far more serious than what’s been reported in the headlines. “The charge is interstate sexual trafficking. That’s what we need to be talking about,” he said.
Dr. Umar expressed frustration over the lack of concrete evidence being presented. “I haven’t seen or heard a single piece of evidence against Sean Puffy Combs,” he argued. “I haven’t read it in the New York Times, I haven’t seen it on CNN, and I haven’t found it in the Philadelphia Inquirer. So where is the proof?”
The social commentator was also critical of the way the media has brought up Cassie’s past allegations when they have no connection to the federal indictment. “I keep hearing about Cassie, but what does she have to do with these charges?” he asked. “Why are we hearing about baby oil? Is owning baby oil now a federal crime?”

Dr. Umar posed another critical question: why have the charges against Diddy been sealed? “One of the biggest reasons they sealed the charges is because the evidence is probably weak,” he speculated. “They had to hide the charges from you and me long enough for the public execution to be carried out.”
It’s clear that Dr. Umar wants people to focus on the facts and evidence surrounding Diddy’s case, not the sensationalism. “Brothers and sisters, are you with me so far?” he asked his audience, urging them to question the narrative being pushed by mainstream media.
As the legal battle unfolds, it remains to be seen what evidence, if any, will be brought forward to support the serious allegations against Sean Puffy Combs. Until then, Dr. Umar’s plea is simple: let’s focus on the charges and the truth behind them, not the distractions.
