Drake Beats Out Jay-Z For Most Billboard Hot 100 Top 10s Among Rappers

Drake has been on the music scene for a minute and not only has he brought the6 to the forefront, he made history by having the most Hot 100 Top 10’s for rappers. His two latest hits help him to surpass Jay- Z  for the number one spot.

Drake’s latest tracks, “God’s Plan” hit the Hot 100 at the No. 1 spot and  “Diplomatic Immunity,” entered at No.7. Both songs are from Drake’s  two-track single titled, “Scary Hours.” According to Billboard, Drake is the second artist to debut two songs in the Top 10 at the same time, (the first artist is Ed Sheeran). Champagne Papi has a total of 159 career Hot 100  entities, which is the most for soloists.

Although Drake beat out Jay-Z with 22 to Hov’s 21, there are several rap favs that are close behind, such as Lil Wayne with 20, Ludacris with 18, and Eminem with 17. However, Diddy, Nicki Minaj, T-Pain and Kanye West pull up the rear with 15.
