Drake confirmed that Nicki Minaj will feature on his upcoming For All The Dogs album during the Detroit stop of his All A Blur tour.
In the first of two sold-out shows at Little Caesars Arena, the 36-year-old Canadian rapper addressed the crowd, offering some insight into the upcoming project.
“I’m gonna give away one thing off the album in Detroit tonight because I got a lot of love for Detroit,” Drake told the crowd. “So I’m gonna have to tell you, like, me and Nicki Minaj did our first song together in, like, a really long time. I got a lot of love for her.”
Drake said he’s mixing the record now with longtime producer 40, according to USA Today. He also predicted the album “is about to be a classic.”
Drake recently made headlines for having a hologram of his younger self hand him a lyric book to start the show. It turned out to be a teenage lookalike sitting on the couch. The bit was part of a portion of the show where the rapper showcased some of his early work.
