Despite Drake recently experiencing widespread backlash, one thing is for sure: his birthday was flashy and a night to remember.
Last Thursday, the OVO boss turned 38 and celebrated in a major way in Houston, Texas. He made sure his wrist game was on point. Drizzy rocked not one but two classic Jacob & Co. watches from their first collection that dates back to 2004.
On his left wrist, Drizzy sported a Five Time Zone with a Pave Diamond Dial, which featured bold primary colors that popped next to its bright yellow alligator strap. On his right wrist, a softer timepiece came into play with a pastel Diamond Accents Dial on a blue alligator strap.
To give you some history on the brand, the watches are more than accessories. In the early 2000s, Jacob & Co. launched into the jewelry world, establishing themselves as a luxury spot for hip-hop elites. As a grateful recognition, Jacob & Co. posted photos and videos of Drake’s looks on their Instagram Story. In one clip, Drake looks into the camera and says, “How many Jacobs?”
Nonetheless, Drake’s luxurious night didn’t stop at his wrists. He began his birthday celebration with an intimate family dinner and ended it at a Houston strip club called Area 29, where he continued the night surrounded by friends and family.
