Drake and Rick Ross have always had one of the best musical relationships in hip-hop. Now, the OVO frontman is giving the Biggest Boss his flowers.
On Wednesday, the “Take Care” superstar took to his Instagram Story to share some praise to Rozay and the newest artist on the OVO roster, Smiley.
“The greatest rapper alive met my favorite rapper alive,” Drake captioned the video, which featured Smiley standing next to Ross, who referred to him as “family.”
Calling his “Lord Knows” collaborator the greatest comes as no surprise to most. The two have worked on over a dozen records together, including “Aston Martin Music,” “Gold Roses,” “Made Men,” and their most recent “Lemon Pepper Freestyle,” which peaked at No. 3 on Billboard. These two GOATS have achieved so much success together that they’ve even toyed with the idea of releasing a joint project.
Only time will tell if that collab album becomes a reality, considering that Drake has kept fans waiting for over a year for the debut of “Certified Lover Boy.”
Do you agree with Drizzy? Is Rick Ross the greatest rapper alive, or is Champagne Papi reaching?
