Drake is back in the lab, and it’s giving summer takeover.
Him and PARTYNEXTDOOR already been owning the charts with Some Sexy Songs 4 U. That whole project got folks in a sexy lil chokehold. But now Drizzy’s flipping the vine and getting back to solo mode.
According to OVO artist Smiley, Drake’s been recording non-stop. Like, even during the Nokia video shoot, man had producers on standby and was laying tracks between scenes.
And yes — it’s official. On a recent stream with Adin Ross, Drake said it, “Working on a new album right now. It’s a slap.”
That’s all we needed to hear.
Looks like we’re getting some new solo fire just in time for summer and if history repeats, the charts better make room.
Drake’s coming with heat, and the summer might not survive it.
