Dwight Howard is allegedly looking to silence Royce Reed following her recent stories and revelations about their relationship.
Royce has spent the past few days calling out her son’s father in a nine-part video series titled “I Had A Baby By Superman.” Though she avoided naming Howard directly, social media users quickly pieced it together. While Howard initially appeared to take the high road, wishing her “the best peace” in a statement, Royce continued to air grievances and share allegations on her social media platforms.
Behind the scenes, Howard seems to be pursuing legal action. On January 3rd, the former “Basketball Wives” star shared a cease-and-desist letter she claims the NBA star’s legal team sent her on December 31st. The letter, penned by Adam Gleklen of the Georgia-based Gleklen Law Firm, accuses Royce of making “escalating” and “potentially defamatory statements,” misrepresenting Howard’s personal life and fabricating claims. It demands she retract her statements by January 7th, remove her video series, and issue a public apology—or face legal consequences.
Royce responded defiantly on social media, mocking the letter and suggesting it validated her claims.
“Welp! We knew this was coming,” she wrote in the caption of her post.
Royce’s public response suggests she won’t be meeting Howard’s demands. Meanwhile, he remains focused on his fiancée, Amy Luciani, who continues to stand by his side.
