Elon Musk‘s transgender daughter has legally changed her name and her gender status.
On Wednesday, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge officially granted Musk’s daughter the right to a name and gender change following a request she previously issued. In her request, she mentioned that she no longer lives with and no longer wished to be “related to [her] biological father in any way, shape or form.”
“There being no objections, the petition for change of name, recognition of change of gender, and issuance of new birth certificate is granted,” said the judge in her decision, NBC News reports.
Wilson, who recently turned 18, filed her petition in Santa Monica back in April. Her new name is Vivian Jenna Wilson.
