“Empire” star Bryshere Gray is the latest Lyon to get in trouble with the law just months after his costar, Jussie Smollett, sparked widespread controversy with his alleged staged hate crime.
In the incident, which occurred in Chicago on Thursday, Gray was reportedly pulled over for a registration issue, as tags didn’t match the car. However, according to TMZ, after further investigation, cops also found that the actor had been driving his 2014 Rolls-Royce without a license or insurance.
Gray was then arrested and booked on a misdemeanor for the registration and cited for not having a license or insurance. Shortly after, the actor was released.
The casts legal troubles come on the heels of the show’s cancellation.
