Erica Mena is calling out her ex-husband, Safaree, making several accusations about him and the treatment of their children.
In a series of lengthy Instagram Story posts, the “Love & Hip-Hop” star accused Safaree of neglecting his children. One allegation concerns the sex toy entrepreneur failing to spend time with his kids despite only living 30 minutes away. Mena detailed how he finally spent time with his son and daughter over the weekend, only to neglect them, precisely their hair.
In one photo, Mena showed her son’s braids and described how his hair needed to be taken down and washed. However, she claims when Safaree had the children over the weekend, he failed to get their son’s braids redone, even though his sister and mother were present and could have tackled the job. In a similar post, Mena uploaded an image of their daughter with her hair in a ponytail. She questioned how Safaree could be wealthy and flaunt his many diamonds and luxuries while failing to take pride in their children.
“You have no problem making sure you a bad b***h all the time. Why can’t my babies be dressed and groomed properly like you do for you?” she wrote in one of the posts.
This is not Mena’s first time calling out Safaree for refusing to care for their children. In the posts and previous rants, she has claimed he refuses to pay his half of their healthcare, school, and other day-to-day needs. Safaree has not yet responded to his ex-wife, though it’s likely he will speak up to defend himself.
