America’s Next Top Model alum Eva Marcille and Michael Sterling are reportedly calling it quits after five years of marriage.
According to court documents, Marcille filed for divorce on March 23 in the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, citing that their marriage is “irretrievably broken” with no chance of a reconciliation.
Per the court docs, the former couple is “currently living in a bona fide state of separation.”
The RHOA star and the attorney married in October 2018 after more than a year of dating. Together they welcomed Michael Todd Sterling Jr. and Maverick Sterling. Michael has also been a father to Eva’s daughter, Marley Rae, whom she welcomed with ex-Kevin McCall.
Eva previously opened up about changing Marley’s last name to Serling.
“Marley was born in 2014 and I gave her her biological father’s name,” she said on the Ricky Smiley Morning Show. “After two months, we became estranged and I raised her as a single mom. And then, the good Lord saw fit for me to meet an amazing man, Michael Sterling, who has become my husband and the father of my later children. Long story short, we all have the name Sterling, and Marley is the only one with her biological father’s name and I saw it necessary and Mike saw it necessary to change her name.”
Sterling, a Texas native, also previously opened up about being a “girl dad,” sharing that he had been a father to Marley since she was 15 months old.
Eva is seeking primary custody of their children and child support. She’s also requested that Michael contribute to the kids’ medical, dental, and hospitalization expenses.
As per assets, the model is asking for an equitable split of everything they’ve acquired in the marriage, including debt, per TMZ.
