Early Tuesday morning, an exploding package left one person injured in Philadelphia.
According to reports, the incident took place around 4 am. A package containing some kind of medication exploded, injuring a 62-year-old man. Officials say the man is in stable condition at a local hospital, however, he suffered injuries to his hands and chest. The man’s roommate told officials that the package exploded after it was opened. The victim receives inhalers via mail on a regular basis.
Bomb squad units, as well as other officials were on the scene to investigate. There were no significant structural damages inside the man’s home, reports state.
