Fabolous has officially struck a deal in his domestic violence case, and the good news is, the rapper will avoid jail time.Â
Back in October 2018, Fab was indicted one count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, two counts of threatening to kill and one count of possession of a weapon after video surfaced of a heated confrontation between the rapper and the mother of his kids, Emily B.Â
Although the two stayed together after the incident, and the rapper still faced up to 20 years behind bars for his actions. But now, it appears he’ll be in the clear, thanks to a new plea deal.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, as part of Fabolous’ deal, the rapper will enter a pretrial intervention program. Upon completion, if Fab can stay out of trouble for a year, the charges will be dismissed.Â
However, according to his attorney, Brian Neary, the rapper will have to provide a status update at least once a month, as part of the rules of the new deal. But, he will not have to enroll in therapy or anger management courts.
