With fans celebrating GloRilla’s debut album, “Glorious,” they’ve also pointed out a track that was initially introduced to us by Erica Banks.
Track number 14 on Glo’s highly regarded album features T-Pain on the title, “I Luv Her.” This cut quickly became a fan favorite, though it didn’t take listeners long to realize they’d heard the song back in 2020. Banks shared a snippet of it on Twitter.
On July 1st, 2020, she wrote “Just Did a song w T-Pain. Y’all want a snippet?”
just did a song w T-Pain 😭 y’all want a snippet?

Banks then followed up with a video of her in the studio singing the track. Banks took a melodic approach that was much different from her rap flow. The snippet was met with mostly positive reviews at the time. However, it seems something happened after it was recorded, which prevented Banks from releasing her version. Fast-forward to October 11th, when we learned that the track ended up in Glo’s hands.
As of now, neither Banks nor Glo have spoken out about the record, though fans online are seemingly enjoying the full-length version and the snippet from Banks.
Why did @ericabanks not put this song out ?? The joint with Tpain is I think GloRilla’s best song on the album https://t.co/iEkE0UUacc
