bartender fakes note as receipt

The quick-thinking Florida bartender who saved two ladies from a creepy customer by slipping one of them a note disguised as a receipt claimed he’s used to dealing with pervs who give off “very weird” vibes.

Trinity Allie, a woman who tweeted about the story, praised the bartender, Max Gutierrez, for being a hero.

Gutierrez posed for a photo with the note he presented to Allie, and the photo instantly went viral on Twitter. He later posted a Reddit thread about the incident that happened at No Vacancy in St. Petersburg, describing how he’s become adept at spotting troublesome customers.

When asked if bartenders are taught these types of tricks, Guiterrez replied, “It’s something you just pick up from mentor bartenders.”

He said, “Eventually, you become pretty good at reading people, body language, etc. This guy was giving off very weird vibes for quite a while, kept an eye on him, try to give him a chance, try to let the girls tell him no and leave it at that, but he didn’t take no for an answer and kept pestering them so eventually I kind of yelled at him and made him leave lol.” He continued, “I honestly don’t like yelling at customers or embarrassing people, but I find it’s one of the best ways to handle creeps. Calling them out in front of people is usually enough to get them to turn tail and walk away.”

Gutierrez claimed it’s just part of the job to keep other customers from “feeling uncomfortable.”

“If this guy is bothering you, put your ponytail on your other shoulder, and I will have him removed. He’s giving me the creeps,” he said in a note disguised as a receipt.

More than 210,000 people had liked Allie’s viral tweet since it was posted on June 13.

Allie later tweeted that she had given Gutierrez a tip of more than 25%. She tweeted, “I’m in the service industry too, so I took care of him.”

Other guests commended Gutierrez’s full-service hospitality, noting that he consistently goes above and beyond.

Women are saved from being hit on by ‘creeps’ thanks to a bartender’s bogus receipt.

Another woman tweeted, “I went there a few weeks ago and pretty sure he was my bartender.” She said, “Super good vibes from him.”

“Chivalry is not dead,” another tweet read. “There [are] still a few good gentlemen left in this day and time!! #hero #savior”
