A Florida woman is facing serious charges after a shocking altercation reportedly sparked by a dispute over a tip on a pizza delivery. Brianna Alvelo, 22, spent Christmas behind bars in Osceola County Jail, accused of attacking a customer she believed had under-tipped her.
Authorities allege that on December 22, Alvelo and an unidentified male accomplice broke into a room at the Riviera Motel in Kissimmee. Armed with a knife and gun, respectively, the pair reportedly assaulted the room’s occupant. According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Alvelo stabbed the customer multiple times before the duo stole several items from the motel room.
The Sheriff’s Office believes the motive stemmed from Alvelo’s dissatisfaction with a tip she received earlier in the evening after delivering pizza to the same room.
The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was hospitalized and listed in stable condition as of December 25.
Alvelo was arrested the day after the attack and charged with attempted murder, kidnapping, home invasion with a firearm, and aggravated assault. She remains in custody without bail. The male suspect has not yet been apprehended.
