NFL player Joseph Randle and trouble seem to go hand in hand. Earlier this month, the Dallas Cowboys decided to part ways with the running back after having to deal with his numerous run-ins with the law and mountain of personal issues time and time again. A week after his release, the NFL also suspended him for four games for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy in relation to an incident in February. However, instead of trying to get right in hopes of getting picked up by another NFL team, Randle has been spending his time off adding to his criminal record.
Randle was arrested at Kansas Star Casino on Tuesday night for assaulting an officer. After getting too drunk, he was asked to leave at around 10 pm but he refused. Instead, he made a huge scene, spitting on the floor and assaulting a security officer. Randle was arrested on charges of felony criminal threats, assault on a law officer, battery, disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, and interference with law enforcement. He was taken to jail and is still being held at the Sumner County Jail on $25,000 bond.
This is just the latest on the list of Randle’s legal woes. Randle was arrested in October 2014 for shoplifting underwear and cologne from Dillard’s. Then just 4 months later, his child’s mother called the cops on him to say that he was threatening her and their son with a gun. When cops arrived, they found that Randle was in possession of marijuana and arrested him.
After getting arrested multiple times, losing his job, and getting suspended from the NFL, it appears that Randle still has not learned his lesson. It is clear that he is not in the right state of mind and somebody needs to get this man some help.
