Former “GMA3” host T.J. Holmes and his former spouse, Marilee Fiebig, have ultimately reached an agreement in their divorce proceedings.
As reported by Us Weekly, legal documentation for both Holmes and Fiebig was officially completed by their respective attorneys on Thursday. Official records indicate that a marriage dissolution certificate was processed at the New York County Supreme Court. The final settlement and divorce judgment are still awaiting resolution.
Last November, Holmes and his co-host Amy Robach garnered significant media attention after their steamy affair became public news. Shortly after, Holmes filed for divorce from Fiebig following a publicized incident where he was photographed touching the buttocks of his co-host during a private vacation. Earlier this year, it was reported that Robach and Holmes were no longer employed by ABC and received contract payouts in the wake of the controversy.
In January, Fiebig spoke out about the affair. Her attorney, Stephanie Lehman, issued a statement, saying, “During the holiday season and in light of the challenging times. Marilee’s sole focus has remained on the overall best interest of her 9-year-old daughter. Notwithstanding, we continue to be disappointed by T.J.’s lack of discretion, respect and sensitivity toward Marilee and the party’s daughter.”
Meanwhile, Robach also went through a divorce from her husband, Andrew Shue, ending their 13-year marriage. Nevertheless, Holmes and Robach have openly displayed their relationship and have no intentions of slowing things down. Holmes recently hinted at his upcoming career move, but he has not disclosed the specifics. While the exact nature of the couple’s future projects is unknown, it was reported by The Post that they are actively striving to return to television. However, CBS Media Ventures, responsible for daytime shows like “Dr. Phil” and “The Drew Barrymore Show,” declined a talk show proposal from the duo.
