Video shows the former University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) lecturer getting arrested after his alleged mass shooting threats against the school led to in-person classes being canceled on Monday.
Over the weekend, a video titled “UCLA PHILOSOPHY (MASS SHOOTING)” was also reportedly posted to a YouTube page. As Baller Alert previously reported, the video contained footage from the 2017 Las Vegas shooting, as well as a movie that was “loosely based on the Columbine High School mass shooting.”
In addition, an 800-page manifesto, including threats toward people at the school, was also released allegedly by the lecturer. A part of it read, “da war is comin. forward dis [explitive] to our tha goldhead caucasoid princess.”
Reports show the threats came from a former UCLA lecturer, who police arrested this week. Video footage shows the suspect being taken into custody. Emails and the link to the manifesto led police officers to the home of former UCLA lecturer in Boulder, Colorado, according to CNN’s Erica Hill. The man has been identified as Matthew Harris; the area around Harris’ home was evacuated before SWAT took Harris into custody, CNN reports.
