On June 18, Florida-bred rapper, XXXTentacion, was shot and killed at a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
One month later, a Broward County grand jury indicted the four men involved on charges of first-degree murder with a firearm and armed robbery with a firearm. At the time, two of the four suspects – Dedrick Devonshay Williams, 22, and Michael Boatwright, 22, were already in custody. About a week later, the third, Robert Allen, 22, was arrested in connection to the superstar’s death.
Now, nearly two months after the fatal shooting, the last suspect, 20-year-old Trayvon Newsome, has turned himself in.
According to CNN, the sheriff’s office identified both Boatwright and Newsome as the armed suspects in the incident. However, according to the indictment, Boatwright has been identified as the shooter. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Newsome is scheduled for a court appearance Wednesday.
