On Wednesday, beef between Freddie Gibbs and Gunna reignited after Gunna teased his upcoming project on Twitter.

Gunna tweeted, “When my album drops, Freddie Gibbs will [have] the biggest moment of his career.”

Shortly after, Gibbs retweeted Gunna and added a kiss emoji to his response, “Definitely about to be my biggest year in rap,” he said.

Gibbs decided to take his jabs towards Gunna a little further by tweeting, “U can say U sold more records got more money but I ain’t never been on crime stoppers. Fin.”

As you may know, Gibbs has previously accused Gunna of being a snitch after he appeared on
Crime Stoppers TV, an accusation the rapper has denied.

Things started to get messy when DJ Akademiks tweeted a clip from Gunna’s new album ‘Drip Season 4’ where he rapped, “I can’t fuck with Freddie Gibbs.”

Gibbs said, “Damn that was it? I thought fam was gon gimme some bars. Let’s go #SSS,” referring to his own upcoming album. And then he added, “I love gunna music I think he one of the best making music so to be recognized by one of the best is a blessing. Now don’t take this get back shit personal.”

Instead of leaving things on a more positive note, Gibbs shared a clip of Gunna being interviewed on Crime Stoppers. He said, “I’m just gon leave this right here y’all have a good evening.”

Gunna said in response, “This is not crime stoppers dummy,” then in another tweet said, “It’s CNN and my cuzin still doin life for no statement ever been turn in ! #FREEDEVO.”

Gibbs wasn’t done being petty, however, and tweeted, “If u ain’t snitch u ain’t gotta explain yourself.” And then tweeted, “Upgraded my opps in 2022.”

Prior to the back and forth comments Gunna released the track list to Drip Season 4, which features other known artist like Drake, Young Thug, 21 Savage, Future, and more artists.
