Happy birthday, Usher! The R&B legend was surprised by a bunch of his closest friends with a celebration at Nomad Library in Vegas hosted by Amazon Music on Friday.
Before the party, Usher performed at the MGM Grand as part of his residency. He was joined on stage by Chris Brown, Jermaine Dupri, and Anita Baker. They all wished Usher a happy 44th, and Baker sang “Happy Birthday.”
After the show, Usher was surprised by the party at Nomad. Floyd Mayweather, Polow Da Don, Keith Thomas, Johntá Austin, Kendrick Sampson, and Hazel E were all in attendance. Jermain Dupri and Bryan Michael Cox served as DJs for the evening.
TMZ reports that the music was stopped at one point so everyone could sing happy birthday to the icon.
Around 3:30 a.m., the party moved to Mayweather’s Skate Rock city skating rink.
