Gayle King is speaking out after Donald Trump claimed she has “no talent” in a recent post on his Truth Social platform.
The comments came as CBS Mornings faces questions about its future due to Paramount’s merger with Skydance Media.
On Truth Social, Trump wrote, “Gayle King’s career is over. She should have stayed with her belief in TRUMP. She never had the courage to do so. No talent, no ratings, no strength!!!”
Many expected King to fire back with a sharp response, but she kept her tone measured.
“I’m sorry he feels that way. I like my job and will continue to do a good job,” she told TMZ.
King also noted she is now part of a group recently criticized by the controversial political figure, which includes Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and Stephen Colbert.
Despite the remarks, she appears focused on her work and unbothered by Trump’s tantrum.
