A Georgia woman has been arrested for reportedly posing as an FBI agent to get a free meal from Chick-fil-A.
Kimberly Ragsdale, 47, was arrested last Thursday for allegedly trying to con the fast-food restaurant in Rockmart, according to a police report obtained by The Smoking Gun.
The report says that Chick-fil-A employees called police to report that Ragsdale said she was “a federal agent to try and get free food.”
Cops arrived, and Ragsdale continued to pretend she was in the FBI. But when officers asked her to show proof, she said her credentials were “electronic” and couldn’t show them.
Cops then threatened to tase her, and she left.
“Ms. Ragsdale then began to talk into her shirt like she was talking into a radio telling someone that we were arresting her and to send someone to Rockmart PD,” the report said.
She has been charged with impersonating a public official.
